Hot Stone Massage
Service Description
Hot stone massages use smooth, flat, rounded stones usually carved from basalt. Basalt is a type of volcanic rock that holds heat. The stones are placed into a heater, covered with water and then warmed to the correct, safe temperature. Because we all have different sensitivities to heat, your therapist will test the heat of the stone to ensure you are comfortable. The therapist uses the heated stones as an extension of their hands to massage the body. The shape and design of the stone allow the therapist to work deeply into your muscles if you prefer a massage with firmer pressure. The heat from the stones can promote a deeper state of relaxation and warm particularly tight muscles. This is a wonderful, warming treatment all year round. The heat from the stones can promote deep muscle and tissue relaxation, improve circulation, and reduce stress or anxiety. It aids in relieving back pain and general muscle tightness and tension. When the stones are placed along your back, not only does this allow the heat to penetrate your muscles and joints, the weight of the stones creates a very relaxing and grounding feeling.
Cancellation Policy
1. Please be advised that cancellations made up to 24 hours before a scheduled appointment via (email, text, phone call) will be processed without a penalty. 2. If It's Always Sunny Spa cancels an appointment with less than 1 hour notice, a new appointment will be scheduled without penalty to the client, subject to availability. 3. Please note that once you have booked an appointment with us, it means that we have reserved time in our schedule exclusively for you. If you cancel your appointment less than 24 hours before it is scheduled to occur, you will be subject to a penalty/fee/rebooking charge of half of the service rate. Please provide a cancellation or reschedule notice at least 24 hours before your appointment to avoid a cancellation fee. 4. Please note that if you do not show up for your appointment, the deposit paid will be retained to cover the missed reservation. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
